It’s been an Amazing 3 months of sharing inspiring stories with you.

When I launched The Baseline 3 months ago, my goal was to enable people such as yourself to connect with the amazing stories of people doing impactful things and be inspired to do great things yourself and support them through various means available.
At first, I was worried if people would genuinely be interested in these stories. But the fact that you’re reading this now is a sign that we’re in the right direction.
In 3 months, we have almost 200 subscribers on substack, and 216 subscribers on our Telegram channel. Over 500 followers on Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram combined and our Medium publication has hundreds of viewers. For all of us at The Baseline, this is a huge deal!! And we couldn’t have done it without you.
So, What does the new year have in store for us?
- This year, we will be sharing different stories through partnerships with several organizations inclined to social impact and sustainable development.
First on the list is Yiaga Africa, a non-profit civic hub that provides critical analysis on key democratic and governance issues, crafts practical solutions, and trains and empowers Nigerians to lead change in their community.
Through our partnership with Yiaga Africa, we will be running a blog series on their #RunToWin project — a campaign for publicizing young people (18–35 years) running for political offices in Nigeria. PLS STAY TUNED
- We plan to launch a campus ambassadors program for University students to join the art of storytelling for social good.
- We will start The Baseline podcast called Back To The Basics — which will cover a combination of the audio narration of text posts and live audio conversations with our guests.
- We will be launching The Baseline Ideation Forum — a discussion forum and Free consultancy session for subscribers and readers who want to start their own NGOs or Sustainability Inclined businesses or persons who currently run such organizations but want to know more about certain aspects of the field they work in.
Our Goal for our 1 Year Anniversary by October 2023 is to get a total of 5,000 subscribers
It is my dream to see impactful real-life stories getting the publicity and attention they need to inspire people to take action and make the world a better place through little and big steps.
To achieve this goal of ours, we will be launching The Baseline Campus Ambassadors program and referral system to get more readers and spread our stories as far and wide as possible.
Most importantly, we need you to help us share our stories that inspire or impact you with others so it can benefit them as well❤
